Travel diaries can be about different aspects of a trip.
I don’t just want to help future travellers with tips about great vegan eats and awesome spots to visit worldwide. I also have the moral responsibility to raise awareness about what happens to animals in countries with different cultures.
For our third week we have flown to Palawan Island. O-M-G what a paradise!
Unfortunately only spent a night in Puerto Princesa due to a flight cancellation that has costed us a lot in terms of money and time. So we had to give a miss to the Underground River (a good reason to come back..).
Second week in the Philippines mainly spent on Siargao Island.
Very different from Bohol and Cebu, the north part of the island is absolutely non touristic. Most of the visitors choose this place for surfing, so the most popular towns are General Luna and Cloud 9, only 10minutes drive form each other.
Best way to visit the island is by renting a motorbike and just randomly explore! You will find hidden beaches everywhere with crystal water.
Next stop: Cebu City!
(via Ferry from Tagbilaran Port –> 2hours for 520 php + 100 php for the luggage)
Unfortunately only for a couple of days, but enough to try few vegan restaurants and to visit one of the most beautiful spots ever!
Yes I’m talking about the Kawasan Falls.
Waking up with the sound of hundreds of farm animals coming from all around the island.
This is what happens in Panglao, Philippines.
